What FunSlider stores
FunSlider is playable without an account. Your progress, pucks, Frost Shards and settings live on your device. A small amount of data is kept on our servers so competitive play and challenges work:
- A player identity. Guests get a random identifier generated on the device. If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, we store the account identifier and email address that sign-in returns.
- A display name, if you set one. Display names are public: they appear on the global ladder and to your opponents.
- Gameplay records: distances, duel results, challenge progress, achievements and your Frost Rank rating.
- In-game economy records: your Frost Shard balance, and the record of any Frost Shard wagers placed and settled in Play Online matches.
- Purchase records for Frost Shard packs, confirmed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Reports you submit about another player, so they can be reviewed and acted on.
What FunSlider does not do
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
- No location tracking, contacts access, microphone or camera access.
- No account is required to play the single-player game.
Frost Shards and wagering
Frost Shards are a virtual in-game currency. They exist only inside FunSlider. Frost Shards can be earned by playing the game, and can also be bought in shard packs through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Play Online contains an optional competitive wager. Before certain online matches you may choose to stake Frost Shards against your opponent. If you do, the match is settled according to the game's rules and the winner may receive the staked Frost Shards. Wagering is never required — online matches can be played without staking anything.
Frost Shards cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, sold back, transferred outside the game, or exchanged for real-world money, goods or any cash value. FunSlider does not offer real-money gambling, betting, or cash or merchandise prizes of any kind, and a Frost Shard balance is not a store of value.
Because wagers are settled on our servers, wager activity — the stake, the participants, the outcome and the resulting shard movement — is recorded as part of your gameplay, account and in-game economy records. That record may be processed or stored to settle the match correctly, to protect account integrity, to detect cheating and fraud, to answer support requests, for moderation, to resolve disputes about a match or a shard balance, to keep the in-game economy consistent, and for aggregate analysis of how the feature is used.
In-app purchases
Frost Shard packs are purchased through Apple's App Store In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment. FunSlider never receives or stores your full payment-card number, your card security code, or your billing credentials.
We receive and keep purchase-related information — such as the product purchased, Apple's transaction identifiers and the validation result — so that we can confirm a purchase is genuine, deliver the Frost Shards you paid for, avoid delivering the same purchase twice, investigate failed or fraudulent transactions, help you when you contact support, and keep accurate transaction records.
Frost Shards are consumable virtual items with no cash value. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms of sale.
Analytics
FunSlider uses GameAnalytics, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the game is actually played — which levels are reached, where runs end, how long a session lasts — so difficulty and balance can be improved.
GameAnalytics identifies your device by Apple's identifier for vendor. That is not the advertising identifier: it is not shared with other companies' apps, and it is reset when you delete FunSlider. Your name, email address, account identifier and saved progress are never sent to it.
Advertising
FunSlider offers optional rewarded advertising supplied by Google AdMob. A rewarded ad is only ever shown because you chose to watch one — for example, to continue a run after a wipeout. Nothing in the game requires you to watch an ad, and no reward is taken away if you decline.
When an ad is requested or shown, Google may process data such as device and app information, an advertising identifier, ad interaction and performance data, coarse location derived from your IP address, diagnostic information and your recorded consent choices, in line with Google's own terms and privacy policy for its advertising services and with the consent choices that apply to you.
Where local law requires it, a consent form is shown before any personalised advertising, and your choice can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy options. Released versions of FunSlider use Google's production AdMob integration; development builds only ever request Google's test ads.
Children and age requirements
FunSlider is not directed at children. The game may include optional competitive wagering using Frost Shards, which have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real money.
You should meet the age requirements shown for FunSlider in the App Store in your country or region.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and everything stored against it from inside the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. This erases your server-side record — statistics, rating, ladder row, challenge progress and display name — permanently and immediately. Device-local data is removed by deleting the app.
Deleting your account also signs you out on this device, destroys the stored sign-in tokens, and disconnects your Apple or Google sign-in from the deleted account. We ask the sign-in provider to revoke the authorization at the same time. Signing in again afterwards creates a brand-new, empty account.
